josh collet's day 9
Wed 26th October - 6.00pm by Josh Collet
day 9! The days have gone soo quickly :O the diarria had gone completly, but constipation was on its way and my gluteus maximas was aching badly! the headache had come back and i felt useless. But today was a really good fun day. We got to take standard 3,2,1, and the cute little kindergardens to Hallo park. We saw fed and some of us even got to experiance the fascinating experiance of tasting monkey poo. My favioroute animal was the giant tortoise as it was rather slow but extremly cute :') also i got to feed a giraffe which semmed to enjoy its food a lot more than i did whilst being fed octupus, squid and fish by mr straw..... i spent the day with two little kindergardens, lewis and helen. Lewis is a tiny tiny boy who constantly held my hand as he was afraid of the animals, helen is a tiny tiny little girl who loves to sing and make noises towards the animals. Althought this day was at hallo park spending time with the kids made me realise that i want to improve the lives of unfortunate kids as a life accomplishment... great day great fun and a great atmosphere! xx

Wow Josh - your days just seem to get better and better. You're having some great experiences which you'll remember forever. It must have been lovely to see the children enjoying themselves at Haller Park and unbelieveable that they hadn't seen some of those animals before! Keep making the most of your time in Kenya. Really sorry you're not feeling great but try (if you can) to put that to the back of your mind. Don't forget the Imodium for stomach cramps - it works a treat, and of course lots of bottled water too. We're all missing you here and can't wait to hear more about the trip when you come home. Hope you've got lots of photos.
Lots of Love XXX

Hi Josh, Glad you're feeling a bit better now and that everyone enjoyed themselves at Haller Park. Only a few days until the safari - if they need a home for a cheetah cub, I can look after one! I was dog sitting yesterday as a man found a stray Staffordshire Bull Terrier outside our house so I took it in until the dog handler could collect it. Luckily it was micro-chipped so he should be home safe and sound now. A Staffy should be good practice for looking after wild animals! Try to avoid any weird foodstuffs for the rest of your time - plain rice is supposed to be very good for a dodgy tummy! I'm not wishing your time away, but looking forward to you coming home.
