Ben's 9th day Kenya Trip 2011

mambo!!!
So today we took the kids to a nature reserve called Haller Park, it was really good as all the kids loved walking round and seeing all of the animals and riding on huge tortoises.
We later fed the girrafes and they were absolutely awsome!!!! There was like eight or nine trying to get one handfull of food. The monkeys were really really cool but really really really annoying!!!! THey deicided it was to be halarious to have a poo on Alex Watkins... IT WAS HALARIOUS!!!!
I then later sat down and this viscious little mongoose as in ferrit type thing was attacking all the kids untill some guy came along called it pippy and it ranover laid down and he stroked it. THen it came to me and i wasn't allowed to stroke it but it went in my bag :/
Anyway today was really good and i will speak to you all tomorrow... Peace out

Glad you have had a fun day after yesterday and yes , I agree, it does sound hesterical that Alex got pooped on by a monkey (wicked sense of humour but poor Alex!)
I have to admit that I am EXTREMELY jeleous that you got to feed the giraffes and spend time with them. I hope you gave them a great big hug and a kiss from me and managed to get lots of photos? Probably not advisable if you meet a lion though!
We will definately sponsor a child but I am not sure if you can choose which one to sponsor so Ben, please make sure you are not making promises to children that you are unable to keep. I know you and you have probably alreay promised them the world as you are generous like that but you have to remember that it would be unfair to make promises you can not keep. But we will sort something out when you get home.

hi its realy funny about the monkey pooping on alex's head[good discription bye the way]!!!i wish i could feed giraffes,althouh the film we watched today at the cinema was about a dolphin called winter.It was quite sad cos the dolphin lost its tale but then she got a false one !!! lots of love kisses and hugs love u lots from freyaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:] :] :]!!!

Yeh mum I need to say today who I am going to be sponsoring so his name is victor spade and It does go to him but not directly it goes into a pot for him thanks Freya yes it is hilarious about Alex I was litter ally wetting myself lots of hugs and kisses Ben xxxx

Hi Ben! It's great that you have been able to see the results of all you guys hard work bag packing. The trip to Haller Park sounds brilliant although I hope your little mongoose friend isn't now back packing with you! Keep the blogs coming as we are all forming a story of how the trip is going.
